Should student take part in politics ?

actually i was in a public forum topic which we had to discuss was is student make a career in politics ? I support this with following logic keep in mind
Generally people choose politics when they have to do nothing they are useless but they choose politics which is the biggest service to nation . These people generally fatigue , no idea how to lead the their constituency ? when they win the election the see it as a symbol of power not like youth who see it as the opportunity to serve the nation .
